Our Program

St. James‘ Children‘s School offers a year-round, extended day program, with specially planned outdoor activities in the summer. For younger children Tuesday/ Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday options may be available. Part of our curriculum is devoted to learning about God‘s love. Visits from the Rector of St. James‘ Episcopal Church, Bible stories, songs and simple prayers are important to us. Older children attend brief weekly chapel services. Children learn to appreciate other cultures and religions. All families are welcome and encouraged to share information about other cultures with our classes.

Music

Our music teacher visits Toddlers through Kindergarten every week to expose children to types of music, rhythm and sounds, tempo and pitch, singing, playing instruments and much more. All children participate in the exciting Spring Musical each year!

Spanish

Spanish instruction is provided for children two years and above. We have a Spanish classroom for this special learning time where Senora Blanca teaches the language from her homeland.

Extracurricular Options

Optional dance, piano, gymnastics, soccer and karate programs are offered for additional fees.
